Regarded as one of Hollywood’s most innovative figures, Hans Zimmer is the Mozart of film scores. The Frankfurt-born, London-raised composer initially got into music through playing keys in various new wave bands. Zimmer was a rebellious teenager, and was kicked out of 8 schools in his youth. However, his passion for music has led to numerous awards for scores on films such as: The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, Interstellar, Gladiator and 12 Years a Slave.
